Hanging Rock: A great place with the best staff a scout troop could ever ask for. Frendly waves and "How's it going" were a normal occurance. To the Hanging Rock staff I thank you for a wonderful weekend. Most scouts saw the snake show at SFSR this summer and enjoyed seeing it again with there parents Saturday night. After the show dinner was served.
A little rain Saturday morning , the Eagle patrol/breakfast crew cooked in the dinning tent on camp stoves. Good job guys, no one reported any food sickness to the medical officer.
The rain let up early and on the river we went. Partly cloudy with just the right temp. Just hot enough ,that the cool water felt great when you fell in. And did we fall in?? Yes several times.
