Old Goats: Marcus, Debbie, Glenn
Lots of fun and merit badges were had by all. A
little rain when we arived , that let up after after a hour, just
in time for the swim test. Warm days and cool night make camping
very nice. As normal the camp staff made every effort to take
care of all our needs. It was nice to have troop members, Mike,
Joe and Jason on staff to give us that extra special attention.
Joe Seaton, the frountier man, was up to his high standards ,
again making camp extra fun. Those of you that know 'Fast Eddie'
will be happy to know that he is on staff all summer teaching
Disabilitie awareness and eagle trail
I'm extra proud of the perfect 10 campsite inspection the troop
recieved on Friday, it's things like that that makes me proud of
all our scouts. Thank to all the parents that came down for
Parents Night to see us. I know the scouts enjoy being able to
share and show what they have done during the week with them.
This was the first year test of using the internet to stay in
touch with home, I hope to use this system more often in the
future. Writing and recieving words from home help boost smiles
on happy campers. I want to thank all the parents for letting me
have fun with thier sons. Also thanks to all the scouts that
helped me have the best summer camp I can remember.
